Surgical Directions contacted Dialexa in hopes of working together on an improved product and product strategy to drive product growth and adaption. They offer a tool for Operating Room Efficiency but were providing it more as a leave behind in hopes that it would be utilized to where potential clients then see the value. They wanted to flip this approach on its head and instead use their product as the first foray of predictive analytics to instead drive new client growth by showing them the value of using the tool and what it could predict.
We helped them improve the UI and product processes to be more efficient as well as providing prototype demos of the improvements to the product. We found that the most important factor to users was if this tool could save them time and be more efficient with setting a standard and driving that across their operating rooms. At the end of our time together they had gained multiple new clients and had a list of new potentials in the queue to provide demos and improve operational costs and efficiencies in multiple systems.
Objectives
Create an improved UI and product experience that would provide clear insight to users of ways to improve the efficiency of their operating rooms which in turn drive improved baseline P&L.
Conduct User testing to ensure the updates strategy would meet users goals and expectations.
